If you are sourcing wholesale meat in Moldova for the first time — a hotel kitchen, a franchise opening in Chișinău, a production line that needs a steady supplier — the questions are the same. What is the minimum, how do I order, how do I pay, can I see the product first. Here are the answers, including where the honest reply is “confirmed at order stage”.
The minimum order is 70 kg
The published threshold is 70 kilograms per order. It is not a marketing number: goods leave the warehouse in industrial cases, not in portions, and below that volume a delivery makes no sense for either side.
How the threshold is made up — one line or a mix — is agreed with our sales desk, because many products come in fixed-weight cases that are not broken down.
Working out the quantity yourself
Case weights are written into the product names in the catalogue: “Chicken leg quarters Qualiko, block-frozen (monolith), 10 kg”, “Chicken legs Qualiko, dry-frozen (IQF), 14 kg”, “Pork collar, boneless, 20 kg”, “Turkey wings, 10 kg”. Search each line exactly as the catalogue writes it. The method needs no price at all:
- Measure your real weekly usage, cut by cut.
- Multiply by the number of weeks you can actually store.
- Round up to a whole case, not to a kilogram.
- Add the lines together, then give the total to our sales desk: they confirm whether the order closes the way you have built it.
If you fall short, the fix is usually not ordering more often — it is covering two or three weeks at once on the item you consume steadily anyway.
How to place the order
There is no cart and no online payment here. The site is a catalogue: you choose, you send a request, we confirm. Every channel reaches the same sales desk:

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9:00–17:00 and Saturday 9:00–14:00, closed Sunday, Moldova time. A request sent late on Saturday is picked up Monday morning. If it is urgent, call.
Nothing is reserved automatically. It becomes an order once we confirm price, availability and delivery timing.
Price and paperwork
Across the catalogue you will see “Price on request”, and where a line has to be checked, “Check stock with our operator”. No prices are published anywhere on the site — price is confirmed on request, for the specific order and quantity.
One habit worth keeping with any supplier: ask for the confirmation in writing. A price quoted on the phone and recorded nowhere helps neither your food-cost calculation nor the comparison you will run three months later.
If the delivery has to be invoiced to a company, say so in your first message with the company name, and ask us to confirm which documents accompany the goods before you place the order. We publish no document list on the site, precisely so the page and the reality never disagree.
Payment
We do not process online payments. There is no card form and no payment link on the site. The method, the timing and any conditions are agreed when the order is confirmed, directly with our sales desk.
We will not promise payment terms here that we cannot guarantee to every new account. Ask directly on the phone, and ask for the answer in writing.
Collecting from the warehouse yourself
The warehouse is at str. Valea Bîcului 9, Chișinău, on the same schedule. We deliver across Chișinău and throughout Moldova, cold chain maintained until unloading.
For self-collection we publish no fixed rule — it is agreed per order, depending on the item and availability. Ask when you confirm. One thing stays on your side regardless: from the moment you collect, the temperature belongs to your vehicle. Frozen product does not forgive an hour in a warm car.
Samples and a first trial order
We have no published free-sample policy. In practice something else works better: a first order at the minimum threshold, on a single item — the one that matters most on your menu.
A real run gives you numbers a 500 g sample never will: thaw loss, butchery loss, portions per case, behaviour during service. If it does not convince you, you have spent one order, not a contract.
Product specifications for your HACCP file
The producer’s certificates are published as full-size scans on the About carne.md page and on the Qualiko product pages, under “Producer certifications” — read them rather than take our description. For the meat itself the relevant ones are BRCGS Food Safety and the Halal certificate, which covers poultry. The producer also holds GMP+ Feed Safety, a feed certification, and GLOBAL S.L.P. for livestock practices.
Be careful when you file them: Halal covers poultry, so it does not belong next to pork, beef or turkey, and GMP+ is not a meat certification. An auditor spots a wrong attribution immediately, and it becomes your problem, not your supplier’s. Check the validity date on each document before it goes into the file.
