This policy describes how carne.md processes personal data, in line with Law no. 195/2024 of the Republic of Moldova on personal data protection.
carne.md is a product showcase site with a quote-request form. We process no online payments, hold no customer accounts and send no newsletters.

What we process and why
The order-request form: name, phone, e-mail address, company (optional), estimated quantity, request details and the product concerned. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (we answer your quote request). The law does not require separate consent for this purpose.
Technical server logs (IP address, browser type, date and time) are kept briefly and used solely for site security and operation (legitimate interest).
Where the data goes
Requests are stored in the site’s database on our servers. The e-mail notification to our team transits Cloudflare (mail routing) and Google (Gmail) — both acting as processors for mail delivery. We do not sell or share data with other third parties.
Retention
Order requests are kept for 24 months from submission, then deleted.
Cookies
The site sets a single strictly necessary cookie of its own: carne_notice — it remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice (expires after 6 months, tracks nothing). WordPress authentication cookies appear only for administrator accounts. Being strictly necessary, this cookie requires no consent under Law no. 195/2024. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) activate ONLY with your consent via the consent bar — we use them strictly to understand how the site is used (IP anonymised in Google Analytics). Declining does not affect the site in any way, and you can change your choice by clearing the site’s browser data. We use no advertising cookies.
Your rights
Under Law no. 195/2024 you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Write to office@carne.md — we reply within the legal deadline. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Centre for Personal Data Protection (CNPDCP), datepersonale.md.
We make no automated decisions and build no profiles from your data.
