Melion-Prim SRL, the operator of carne.md, is the official importer and distributor of the Qualiko brand (MHP) in the Republic of Moldova. We distribute Qualiko chicken across the country — through retail, wholesale, HoReCa and the public sector, with an unbroken cold chain.

Production under the own brand dinProvincie
Beyond import and distribution, we are producers: fresh-frozen meat and semi-finished products under our own brand dinProvincie — with our own slaughtering, deboning and processing, and permanent quality control.
Above all, we remain a family of lively people offering honest products — caring for what is ours: meat, team, nature, partners, traditions.
How long has carne.md been operating?

Meat trading begins: sales, distribution, and building the retail and wholesale channels.

The move to own production: slaughtering, deboning, processing — the foundation of the dinProvincie brand.

Melion-Prim becomes one of Moldova's largest poultry distributors; TM Qualiko becomes the flagship brand.

Which brand do we distribute? The Qualiko story
Qualiko was founded in Ukraine in 2011, where its journey of exceptional taste and quality began.
Qualiko entered Europe with its frozen chicken range.
The Qualiko brand takes part in its first trade fair: Gulfood.
Qualiko's first appearance at the European Anuga trade fair.
Opening of the office in the Netherlands.
Qualiko began operating with fully owned distribution in Europe.
Opening of the office in the United Kingdom.
MHP and the Qualiko brand are Europe's number 1 broiler producers according to "WATTPoultry Top companies".
Vertically integrated business model
Using the vertically integrated model, we can significantly reduce our dependence on suppliers and raw-material price swings. Beyond economic efficiency, vertical integration lets us enforce a strict biosecurity policy and control raw-material quality and the final quality and safety of products — all the way to the point of sale.
Grain growing
We use our own grain for feed production, enriched with the proteins, vitamins and minerals our chickens need to grow healthy.
Sunflower protein production
MHP is the only company in the world producing protein from sunflower seeds. This ensures cost efficiency and full quality control of our chickens' feed.
Feed production
We use our own crops to produce feed for our chickens, giving them all the protein, vitamins and minerals they need.
Breeder farms
Breeder farms are the first stage of our vertically integrated system. Two MHP breeder farms receive day-old chicks from the best German producers. These birds become the parent stock for our broilers.
Hatching eggs
Eggs produced by our breeder flocks are transported to hatcheries located on our farms.
Poultry production
A fully integrated site including its own breeder farm, a new hatchery, a modern processing plant and a feed mill.
Biogas
In December 2012 MHP launched its first biogas plant with a capacity of 5 MW. It is the first biogas plant in Europe running on poultry manure and poultry-farm waste at such capacity and level of technology.
Meat processing
The company produces a wide range of meat products, from smoked chicken to premium beef and beef products.
Distribution
Distributing our chilled and frozen chicken through 11 distribution centres and over 450 refrigerated vehicles gives us quality control all the way to the point of sale. Our sophisticated international logistics let us deliver fresh, high-quality products to every country in our sales network.
Retail
Our products are currently sold through our own franchised shops (in Ukraine) as well as other shops and supermarkets.
